Willetta M Butler

Willetta Marie Butler, born on July 6, 1952, in Hugo, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at the age of 73. She was the beloved daughter of Elcina and Willard Butler, who undoubtedly shaped her loving spirit and deep-rooted values.

Willetta was a proud graduate of Valliant High School, where she laid the foundations for a life dedicated to service and community. Her work ethic was exemplified during her 29 years of dedicated service at Weyerhaeuser, a tenure that highlighted her commitment and loyalty to her profession.

Faith was a cornerstone of Willetta's life. A faithful member of Olive Branch Baptist Church in Valliant, she served as an usher, nurturing the community she cherished and demonstrating her unwavering dedication to her faith and fellow congregants.

Willetta is survived by her cherished sister, Maude Giddens (Donald) of Valliant, and brother, Audrey Butler (Eslawanda) of Valliant. She leaves behind a loving family that includes a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, Destinee Parsons as special God Daughter, and friends who will remember her warm spirit and kind heart.

A Funeral service will be held on March 10, 2026, at the Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Valliant, Oklahoma. The service will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a committal at the church, located at 205 Dalton Avenue, Valliant, OK 74764.

Willetta's legacy of kindness, service, and love will continue to resonate through the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Interment will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
