Wesley Page McIntyre, 86, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2026, at Elison Assisted Living in Marietta, Ohio.

Born in Clarksburg to the late James and Virginia Davis McIntyre, Wesley graduated from high school before serving in the United States Air Force. He remained a lifelong member of the American Legion and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed a long and successful career in the sporting goods department at K-Mart.

Wesley found great joy in hunting, fishing, gardening, and woodworking. A devoted member of the Sunrise Church of Christ, he served as a song leader, and his deep love of the Lord was reflected in the steadfast devotion he showed to his late wife, Helen Kay Strickland McIntyre. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Philip, and David McIntyre.

He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Moize (Tim); son, Patrick Sean McIntyre (Kelissa); stepdaughter, Kim Rollins (John); and stepson, Larry Dale Davis. His family remains grateful for the compassionate care provided by the staff of Elison Assisted Living, Amedisys Hospice, and the Sunrise Church of Christ family.
