Wesley John Strnadel

Wesley John Strnadel, 85, of El Campo, passed away on March 7, 2026. Born on September 27, 1940, in Hillje to the late RJ Strnadel Sr. and Betty Baca Strnadel, Wesley served in the Texas Army National Guard before building a life as a dedicated farmer and rancher.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Smith Strnadel of El Campo; his son, Shannon Strnadel of El Campo; his daughters, Kelly Scoggins of Harrison, Arkansas, and Leslie Strnadel of San Antonio; and his granddaughters, Mattie Powers of La Vergne, Tennessee, Gracie Scoggins of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Ella Scoggins of Harrison, Arkansas. He is also survived by his sisters, Norma Lee Muschalek of Edna and Bernadette Medford of El Campo.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers RJ Jr., Leroy, Ronnie, and the infant twins John and Ignac Strnadel, and his sister Betty Jo Prasek.
