Wesley Eugene Campbell, 77, Anderson, IN, passed away on March 13, 2026, with loved ones by his side. Wesley was born on August 15, 1948, in Indianapolis, IN, to parents Floyd Wesley and Ilo Manora (Kennedy) Campbell. Wesley is a 1968 graduate of Greenfield High School. He married the love of his life, LaVon Cheryl Patterson.Wesley had a love of collecting and fixing classic cars. His collection once reached a number over 20, along with a few buses and tow trucks. He attended the Indiana State Fair many years, and it also brought much excitement to he and his children when they were able to chase the hot air balloons that departed at the beginning of each fair date. Wesley also annually attended the James Dean Festival; mainly to sightsee the classic cars. Many vacations were spent in Mammoth Cave. Hobbies included planting and harvesting his own vegetable gardens. The vegetables that didn't make the cut were often playfully discarded amongst mischievousness matters between him and his children. Wesley could often be seen watching Western movies and/or TV shows. Music was also playing around the house with artists from the 50s & 60s. He attended Faith United Methodist Church for many years. He was faithfully employed with General Motors, Indianapolis plant, for over 32 years as a press metal worker in their Truck & Bus Division. Many years prior to working in the plant, he worked at DX gas station in Greenfield. Wesley is survived by his loving children, Wesley Eugene (Pamela) Campbell, Jr., Debra Diana (Tom) Beckham, and Monica Rose (Matt) Hartwell; 5 grandchildren: Aaron Rockey, Cassandra Razor, Wesley Campbell III, Mackenzie Hartwell, and Andrea Campbell; 3 great-grandchildren, Delilah Peart, Avery Cunningham, and Leon Rockey; and sister, Lauralee Overlin. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents; wife, LaVon Campbell; daughter, Charlotte May Campbell; sister, Phyllis Johnson; and grandson, Dominic Beckham. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN, with the service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Wakeman officiating.
