Wendy B. Haberle

Wendy B. Haberle, 65, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 10, 2026, at her home. Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, she was the daughter of John H. and Dorothy Janssen. For the past 34 years, Wendy made her home in the East Stroudsburg area, where she built a life surrounded by family and friends.

She is remembered as the loving partner of Phil Counterman. Wendy is survived by her children, Adam J. Haberle, Crystal Haberle, Rachel Alers, Matthew Haberle, Finnigan Shukaitis, Virginia Wisecup-Shukaitis, Andrew Shukaitis, and Aaron Alers; two grandchildren, Jovan and Jacob; and her brothers, Douglas Janssen and Timothy Janssen.

Her family will cherish the memories of her warmth, strength, and the many years they shared together.
