Condict, beloved husband, father, papa, great-grandfather, and proud United States Air Force veteran, passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.Wendell was born to W.H. and Bertha Condict in Rossville, Oklahoma, on October 15, 1940. From an early age, he carried the values of hard work, kindness, and respect that would guide him throughout his life.On October 23, 1965, Wendell married the love of his life, Betty Condict, in Atoka, Oklahoma. Together they built a life centered around faith, family, and unwavering love. Their marriage of many years was a testament to their devotion to one another and the family they created together.Wendell faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force, where he also served as a member of the Honor Guard. During his time in service, he took great pride in honoring fellow service members and representing the values of duty, respect, and patriotism. Wendell carried a deep love for his country throughout his life and made sure his children and family understood the importance of pride in country and the sacrifices made by those who serve.Wendell was known by all who met him as one of the sweetest and kindest people you could ever know. Highly educated and thoughtful, he valued knowledge and meaningful conversation. He lived his life with humility, quiet strength, and compassion, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, W.H. and Bertha Condict; his mother-in-law and father-in-law; four brothers; five sisters; and his son-in-law, Todd Dupler.He is survived by his loving wife of the home, Betty Condict; his son Mark Condict and wife Dawn of Moore, Oklahoma; his son Scott Condict of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his daughter Susan Hodges of Skiatook, Oklahoma; and his daughter Amanda Dupler of Newcastle, Oklahoma.
