It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wendell Lee Todd of Baxley, Georgia, born in Dublin, Georgia, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Todd and Eva Lee Jones Todd; his son Wendell Allen Todd; and his brothers, Truman Adison Todd and Dekle Dean Todd.

He is survived by: his wife Vernell Fort; his children, Lee Ann Todd Jackson, Rebecca Lynn Todd, Catherine Dyane Todd and Richard Wayne Todd; and his stepchildren, Sharon Fort Sanders, Dean Fort and Carol Fort. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riverside Baptist Church (6485 E River Rd, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM and at 3:00 PM.
