Wayne L. Szara Sr.

He is survived by: his children, Wayne Szara, Jr. (Colleen), Steven Szara (Laura) and Dana Christeon (Brett); his grandchildren, Lauren, Jason, Erin, Riley Szara, Zachary and Nathaniel Christeon; his siblings, Larry Szara and Gerry Szara (Lynn); and his pet Herschel.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (7659 W Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
