Wayne Hornberg

Wayne Victor Hornberg, age 74, of Winona, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at St. Anne Extended Health Care.

Born on February 18, 1952, in Winona, Wayne was the son of Victor and Betty (Thompson) Hornberg. He married Susan Larsen on July 21, 1973, in Wilson, Minnesota. A lifelong farmer and heavy equipment operator, he was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wilson. He found great joy in hunting, fishing, and camping.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Sue; his children, Todd, Tina (Neil), and Shawn (Kinsey); his grandchildren, Karley (Brady), Hunter, Orian, Cody (Ella), Callie, Averie, Dawson, and Ari; his great-grandchildren, Keelyn and Dryver; and his siblings, David (LeeAnn) Drussell, Debra (Rik) Nay, Renee (Steve) Larsen, and Diane (Don) Eide.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
