Wayne DeAndre Hollis Sr.

Wayne DeAndre Hollis Sr. was born on July 17, 1968 to the late JoeRandy Nelson and the late Cynthia Hollis. He passed away on March 7, 2026 at Saint Francis Hospital.

Wayne was educated in the Phenix City school system, graduating from Central High School in 1986. From a young age he worked various jobs, eventually becoming a longtime salesman. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his own business, T&W Auto Detailing.

He was well known and respected in his community, remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and his bold, lively presence. Wayne leaves behind his devoted wife, Charlene Hollis; his children, Kristin (Harry) Cox, Wayne Hollis Jr., Montavious Lee, and Daisha Billingsley; eight grandchildren, Tyrik Cox, Trymaine Cox, Kacie Hodges, Carmen Hollis, Haleigh Cox, Lyric Williamson, Kai'dyn Hicks, and Kehlani Williamson; three brothers, Ronald Nelson, Robbie Nelson, and Joseph Nelson; one sister, Kassidy Collins-Moore; and a host of close cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
