Wayne A. Toups

Wayne A. Toups, a lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of Beryl G. Toups for 48 years. Born to the late Joseph and Helen Toups, Wayne was a loving and devoted father to his daughter, Kim M. Toups. He will be deeply missed by his grand puppy, Reesie Noel Toups.

Wayne is survived by his siblings, Darlene Boudreaux and her husband Chris, and Kirk Toups. He was the brother-in-law of Alfred Gaudet and his wife Kathleen, and Dean Gaudet. He was the cherished uncle of Chris Boudreaux and his wife Tanya, Darren Toups and his wife Meka, and Kyle Toups, as well as the late Christy Boudreaux and Charles Boudreaux. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Shirley and Louis Dufrene.

Wayne served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He later worked for Billiot Pest Control and South Port, Inc. He found joy in visiting the casinos, watching football and baseball, and most of all, spending time with his family.
