Wanda Cusimano ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Anthony Funeral & Cremation Chapels - Brighton/Rochester Chapel on Mar. 13, 2026.Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 6, 2026 at age 90.Wanda was born in Union Springs NY, the youngest of four daughter's to immigrant farmers. After graduating from Union Springs HS in 1953, she attended Administration and Secretarial school. She married Donald Cusimano in 1956 and settled in Pittsford NY. She was employed at Pittsford Schools and attended church at St Louis for nearly 60 years.Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Regardless of her medical issues, her eyes were always bright and welcoming when family were near.Wanda's interests were centered on creation including sewing, knitting, crafts, decorative arts, and gardening. An avid golfer, Donald and Wanda spent many winters at Bear's Paw CC in Naples, FL working on their game.Wanda was defined by a courageous 20-year battle with multiple cancers. She appreciated the miracle of the final 8 years of her life as much as her medical team at Pluta Cancer Center appreciated her fighting spirit.Wanda is survived by her sister Mary Reichenbach, children Chris (Jenna), and Brian (Patti), grandchildren Drew and Abbey, great grandchildren Hayden and Henry, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband Donald, sisters Helen (Grandy) and Rose (Bashaw).A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. Louis Church in Pittsford at 9:30 AM on March 23, 2026, followed by interment at White Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Pluta Cancer Center in Rochester, NY.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
