Wanda Sammons

Wanda Lee Sammons, 64, of Blue Ridge, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on September 8, 1961, she was the daughter of Juanita Christopher Haspel and the late Kettern King.

A loving mother, wife, and grandmother, Wanda found her greatest joy in the moments spent with her grandchildren. She cherished each one of them deeply and filled their lives with warmth and affection. A dedicated member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church, her faith and the fellowship of her church community remained an important part of her life for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Steve Sammons; her mother, Juanita Haspel; her son, Steven Michael Sammons and his wife April; her sister, Glenda Baker and her husband Binky; her brother, Bruce Christopher and his wife Diane; and her beloved grandchildren, Coraleigh, Weston, and Millie.
