Wanda Louise McDonald, 84, of Muse, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2026. Born on July 18, 1941, in Pittsburgh, she was the beloved daughter of the late George and Sara Heinen and the loving wife of the late Duane Sasek.

Wanda had a deep passion for cooking and sharing meals with others. For many years she ran her own catering business in Cecil, where her delicious home-cooked meals and warm hospitality brought people together and created lasting memories for countless families and friends. Above all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her family.

She is survived by her son, John “Butch” (Lori Tournay) Cumpston of Cecil; stepmother of Ed Sasek and Jody Sasek; her sister, Betty McAnany of Westland; and her cherished grandchildren, Becky, Butchie, Tom, and Brian Cumpston, Trevor Sasek, and Ally Sasek. Wanda also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who will remember her kindness, warmth, and the care she showed to everyone around her.

Wanda will be remembered for her generous heart, her love of family, and the comfort she brought to others through her cooking and companionship. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
