She was raised by Glenn and Elizabeth Eyestone. On June 5, 1954 she married Norman Fedeler in Waverly, IA and together they raised seven children on a farm near Colton, SD. She worked at Wenks and later as a Nurses Aide at Terrace Manor in Dell Rapids and the Madison Community Hospital.Wanda loved to cook and garden, a trait she passed on to her girls. She also was a very talented seamstress and made many bridal and bridesmaid dresses. Another hobby of Wanda's was making a wide variety of wines. After Norman's death in 1986 she traveled for a while catching up with her foster family in New Mexico. She later moved to Madison to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Wanda loved to play BINGO and kept playing at the Bethel Home where she called home until she passed away on March 12, 2026.Grateful for having her in their lives were her children, Kathryn (Larry) Hauglid of Dell Rapids, David (Sharla) Fedeler of Madison, Janet (Larry) Haak of Howard and Karl (Linda) Fedeler of Colton. Along with her children, she was blessed with 29 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman, son, Fred, daughters, Beth and Becky, two great-grandchildren, Kamden Nytroe and Jed Haak, 6 brothers and 2 sisters. One thing to remember about Wanda is she was the last piece of the puzzle for her generation in the family and may we all take what we learned about family from that generation and bring it forward. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
