Walter Lapteff Jr.

Walter Lapteff, Jr., age 84, passed away on March 12, 2026, at his home in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia T. (Buczak) Lapteff, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage before her passing in 2023. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Walter Lapteff, Sr. and Catherine (Usenia) Lapteff.

Walter was the devoted father of Lisa Lynne and the late Walter Lapteff III, the loving grandfather of John P. Martin, Jr., and the brother of Mary Ann Luisi and the late Ruth Burk.

He will be remembered for the quiet strength and steadfast love he gave to his family throughout his life.
