Walter Henry Eversmeyer III

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Henry Eversmeyer III (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Henry Eversmeyer Jr. and Beatrice Effie Diet Eversmeyer; his brother Karl "Chuck" Eversmeyer; and his wife Pamela Ruth Scott Eversmeyer. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Diet Eversmeyer Bolster (Travis) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Kathryn Pamela Eversmeyer Fleming (Marcus) of Houston, Texas and Melissa Scott Eversmeyer York (Bryant) of New Orleans, Louisiana.; and his grandchildren, Travis, Scott, Evan, Emma Kate Bolster, Jackson, Caroline Fleming and Briggs York.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Munholland Methodist Church (1201 Metairie Rd, Metairie, LA 70005). Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Metairie Cemetery (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans.
