Vontee Jones, age 85, of Rainsville, passed away on March 11, 2026.
He is survived by his daughters, Darla (Vic) Wade and Traci (Michael) Higgins; grandchildren Bambi (Ben) Luther, Timothy Phillips, Dillon Wade, Zane Higgins, Zyler Higgins, and Zayden Higgins; and great-grandchildren Bryce Luther, Bentley Luther, Darius Phillips, Khaleigh Minor, and Connor Wade. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Tony Wilson.
Vontee was preceded in death by his son, Mark Jones; his sister, Edna Ruth Wilson; and his parents, Bill and Gertrude Jones.
He will be remembered fondly by the family who loved him and the many lives he touched across the years.
