Tiffin, OH

Vivian Ada Collins Hill, 93, of Tiffin, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on September 28, 1932, on Steaner Farm on Fleet Road in Tiffin, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Irene (Sours) Collins. She married Melvin “Tip” W. Hill Sr. on June 10, 1950, at the Salvation Army in Tiffin.

She stood at kettles, taught Sunday School, led Sunbeams, and faithfully carried out the tavern route. She approached every task with determination and care, finding special joy in taking Christmas applications, purchasing toys, and ensuring that families had both food and gifts under the tree.

She is survived by her children, Ada (John) Holman of Sycamore, Melvin W. (Jean Copley) Hill Jr. of Tiffin, and Amy (Rick) Kopp of Tiffin; and daughter-in-law, Jan Hill of Findlay. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Carl Hill, her parents, four brothers, and five sisters.

She will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her generous spirit, and her quiet commitment to serving others.
