Virginia "Ginny" Weathered

Virginia “Ginny” Weathered, age 97, of LaGrange Park, formerly of LaGrange, passed away on March 7, 2026.

She was the loving mother of Laura (Warren Leming) Weathered, the late Claudia Weathered, George C. (Shelly) Weathered, Mary Ellen (Dave) Graham, and Brian J. (the late Karyn) Weathered. Devoted grandmother of the late George IV Weathered, Scott Weathered, Alyssa (Chris) Poblete, Michael Graham, Matthew (Emily) Weathered, and Rachel (Mason Vierra) Weathered, she was also the dear great-grandmother of five. Virginia was a fond aunt and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Huber, and her siblings, Harold Huber, Frieda Corrigan, and William Huber.

Virginia will be remembered for her deep love of family and her kind, generous spirit. A talented, resilient, and creative soul, she enjoyed sewing and painting china and was known for her optimistic outlook on life. Her faith guided her—she loved God and always kept a rosary close by. She found great joy in helping others, and Ginny will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
