Virginia Reordan
December 10, 1946— March 9, 2026
Lakeport, CA
Virginia "Ginny" Reordan, born in Marshall, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on March 9, 2026, at the age of 79 while living in Lakeport, California, surrounded by the love of her family.
Ginny was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who cherished time spent with her family. She was happiest when everyone was together, and those gatherings were the moments she treasured most. Her Catholic faith remained a guiding presence throughout her life. She loved animals and always enjoyed having them around the house. Ginny stayed closely connected to her roots in Jefferson, Texas, where she shared lifelong bonds with many cousins in her large extended family.
She lived for many years in Vacaville, California, where she raised her family and worked as a teacher's aide for the Vacaville Unified School District. Her patience and caring nature left a lasting impact on the students and families she supported. After retiring, Ginny and her husband Richard moved to Rio Vista, where they formed many close friendships through St. Joseph's Church.
Ginny is survived by her loving husband, Richard Reordan, with whom she would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on March 27th; her children, Michelle (Ron) and Lance (Andrea); and her grandchildren, David (Kirstinn), Weston, Zachary, and Scarlett. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Diane Green, and many nieces and nephews from Jon and Diane's large and loving family. She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Heather; her brother, Jon Allen Green; her sister, Mary Lynn Green; and her parents, Lynn Faust Green and Adelaide Wise Green.
