Virgil Lee “Bud” Milton, 74, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born on April 30, 1952, in Forrest City, Arkansas, he was the son of the late John and Mary Meadie (Wright) Milton.
Bud proudly served his country as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, including tours in Vietnam and the Gulf. After retiring from the Navy, he found joy in fishing, restoring old cars, and tinkering with various projects, often describing himself as a self-employed consultant.
He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie June (Brandon) Keeton of Harrodsburg; three step-sons, Michael Joe Redding, Patrick Redding, and Timothy Case; three sisters, Patsy Grief, Betty Land, and Margaret Smith; two grandchildren, Dylan Devine and Dakota Milton; and six step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his wives, Janet Godbey Milton and Mary Lynn Davis Milton.
