Violet Curry

Violet "Tince" Curry, 88, of Delbarton, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. Born on February 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence Kirk.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ira Curry, whom she loved dearly, and her siblings Wayne, Elmer, Dolly, Ollie, Garnett, Patty, Hattie (Bill), and Lucy.

Violet is survived by Shane, Rachel, and Easton Hunt, her sister Glenna Varney, and stepchildren Robin Curry and Henry "HD" Curry, along with many friends and loved ones who will cherish her memory. A devoted member of Connolly Memorial Baptist Church, her faith and church family meant the world to her. She touched many lives through her kindness and strong faith, finding deep joy in her family and her church community.

Violet will be remembered for her loving heart and the gentle presence she brought to everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
