Viola Sue Badgley, known to most as Sue, was born on April 2, 1945 to Fred Temple and Sammie Eaton. She passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026 at the age of 80 in Tipton after a brief illness.
Sue spent 30 years as a nurse’s aide at The Sisters of St. Joseph Center in Tipton. Her caring nature made her ideally suited for the role, and she had a genuine gift for making others feel seen and valued. Warm and chatty, she easily formed lasting friendships and was always ready to pause and truly listen to those around her.
She found quiet joy in listening to music, playing Farkle, tending her beautiful flowers, and working crossword puzzles. Her daughter Misty was the center of her world, and becoming a grandmother filled her with immense happiness. Above all, Sue lived a life of deep faith, and her love for the Lord was reflected in the gentle encouragement she offered to everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughter, Misty Landers; grandchildren, Eli Shaul, Kaden Landers, and Alyvia Landers; her brother, Tom Faux; her best friend, Sharon Teuscher; and many dear friends. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ron, and her sister Olene.
