Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. - Kingston on Mar. 9, 2026.Vincent Michael DeLuca, 68, of Pensacola, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 6, 2026, after a short illness, with loving family by side. Born on June 22, 1957, in Kingston, NY, Vincent led a life filled with dedication to his family and community.Vincent began working in the family business, DeLuca Cleaners, where he committed himself from 1996 until 2012. Following that, he ventured into the security field, ultimately retiring in 2022 before moving to the sunny shores of Pensacola. Throughout his career, he was known for his strong work ethic and passion for serving others.A graduate of Kingston High School in 1975, Vincent enjoyed an active youth, excelling as a skier and a goalie on his soccer team. He was also a proud member of the Kingston Republican Party, showcasing his commitment to his principles. His love for soccer continued as he dedicated many years coaching and refereeing local leagues, leaving a profound impact on the lives of young players. One of his proudest accomplishments came in 1983 when he participated in the first international youth soccer group in Belgium, a testament to his passion for the sport.Vincent was a devoted family man, cherishing his roles as husband, father, and pop-pop. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Marienne Wolff DeLuca; daughters Francesca DeLuca Flores (Douglas) and Annalisa DeLuca; and granddaughters Lennyn Jean and Carter Bridget; sister, Barbara Secreto. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and two great nephews. Notably, he considered his son-in-law, Douglas Flores, as if he were his own son.He had a myriad of interests that brought joy to his life. Vincent loved watching sports and never missed an episode of his favorite game show, Jeopardy, each night. An avid collector of baseball cards and coins, he found delight in sharing his hobbies with others and cherished peaceful fishing trips that allowed him to be one with nature.Vincent is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent P. and B. Jeanne (Diamond) DeLuca, and his sister, Jeanne Elizabeth Jones.In honor of Vincent's life, a visitation will be held 3:00pm until a funeral service begins at 5:00pm Friday, March 13, 2026, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504.The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Progressive Care Unit for the exceptional care they provided to Vincent during his final days.Vincent Michael DeLuca will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his community, and his passions.
