Victoria Rodriguez King

Victoria Rodriguez King, 97, of Moundsville, West Virginia, passed away on March 15, 2026. Born on January 7, 1929, in Moundsville, she was the daughter of the late Evaristo and Maria Mata Rodriguez.

Vicky graduated from Moundsville High School in 1946 and later retired from the Moundsville Foodland, where she worked in the meat department. A woman of Methodist faith, she found her greatest joy working in her flower garden from dawn until dusk, tending her plants with quiet dedication and love.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman “Sky” King; her brothers, Jose Rodriguez and Everett Rodriguez; her sister-in-law, Ruth Rodriguez; and her daughter-in-law, Kathy Allman.

Victoria is survived by her three children, Jerry Allman of Powhatan Point, Ohio, Vickie (Rick) Emery of Moundsville, and Tom (Tracie) Allman of Wapakoneta, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jason (Misty) Allman, Dave (Leah) Allman, Blaine (Jennifer) Emery, Marisa (Richard) Houck, Amanda (Jeremy) McGraw, Gunnar Allman, Baylie (Kaleb) Proeschel, and Bryly (Matthew) Lanuto; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, and a great-nephew. She leaves behind a life well lived and a garden lovingly tended.
