It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Victor M. Vazquez, Jr., (Pito), who left us peacefully at the age of 53 on Thursday, March 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 22, 1972, in Rio Piedras, P.R., Pito was the cherished son of Victor Vazquez and Gladys Echevarria. Pito’s life was filled with beautiful memories, especially from our childhood when we walked to school together. He always stood by Ben and me, believing he was our protector from the world. Those who knew him would agree that he was a gentle soul, filled with kindness and devoid of malice. Pito dedicated himself to his work and was a true guardian to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and countless cherished moments. He is survived by his son, Jeremiah; his father, Victor Vazquez; his mother, Gladys Echevarria; his sister, Jackie; his brother, Benji; his fiancée, Debbie, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts.A service celebrating Pito’s life will take place at BROOKLAWN FUNERAL HOME, 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, CT, on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. All are welcome to join us in honoring his memory.
