Victor Joseph Foos

Victor Joseph Foos, 92, of Sun City Center, Florida and formerly of Fremont, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026 in Sun City Center. Born on December 17, 1933 in Helena, Ohio, he was the son of Edwin and Iona (Kirsch) Foos. Vic attended Gibsonburg High School and married Joyce Albright on June 13, 1953 in Gibsonburg.

He worked for more than forty years at Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde, Ohio as a tool and die maker. A self-taught craftsman, Vic was widely respected as one of the best in his trade. A founding member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fremont, he remained active there until moving to Florida in 2005, where he joined Prince of Peace Church.

Vic is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Joyce Foos; his children, Kimberly (Terry) Halbeisen of Fremont and Kenneth (Kandy Takas) Foos of Milbury, Ohio; his grandson, Jeremy (Jill) Smith; step-grandchildren Troy Halbeisen, Tanya Crispen, and John Takas; and many step-great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Bernaldis Noss, Donald Foos, and Jerome Foos.
