Victor E. Kolk Jr., 57, of New Windsor, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Born on June 28, 1968, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Linda A. Kolk and Victor E. Kolk Sr.
Victor owned and operated Dads Trucking for more than thirty years. He cherished time spent with his family, held a deep love for the beach and water, and found joy in helping others. A dedicated volunteer, he served with the New Windsor Fire Department Auxiliary and as a volunteer firefighter with the Jacksonville Fire Department. Those who knew him will remember his quick wit, his ability to make people laugh, his love of dancing, and his great sense of humor. He was also a loyal fan of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Tressa Kolk; sons Dylan M. Kolk and his significant other Becca Kennelly, and Austin R. Kolk and his wife Kirsten Kolk; daughter Aeimaelesia Branham and her husband Joshua Branham; three grandchildren, Emma, Bailey, and Grayson; siblings Michael Kolk, Korina Thibault and her husband Thomas Thibault, Kimberly Phelps and her husband Michael Phelps, and James Kolk; and nieces and nephews Thomas, Candice, John, Tyler, Jaylah, and Noah.
