Victor Dominic Citriniti

Victor Dominic Citriniti, 97, of Monroeville, passed away on March 4, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 7, 1928, in Oakland, he was the son of the late Ross and Maria Citriniti. A graduate of St. Paul’s Cathedral High School and Connelly Vocational School, Victor worked as a skilled craftsman throughout his life, employed at Union Electric Steel Casting, Blawnox Steel, and Westinghouse Electric before retiring from V & J Investments as a general contractor. Known as a jack of all trades, he took great pleasure in gardening, playing bocce, and baking cookies. He remained a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan, but nothing brought him more joy than time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Victor shared 75 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Jennie (Tarli) Citriniti. He is survived by his daughters, Janet Walsh McGee and Victoria (Thomas Jr.) Hunt; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Manny) Tracey, Michael (Hollis) Walsh, Thomas (Jennifer) Hunt III, and Jenielle (Mitchell) Daugherty; and seven great-grandchildren, Jack Tracey, Charles Walsh, Victor Walsh, Kayla Hunt, Aria Hunt, Kendall Daugherty, and Audrey Daugherty. He is also survived by his brother, Jim Citriniti, his sister, Theresa Schubert, his sister-in-law, Nelma Citriniti, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Rose (Gerald) Petrone, his brother Dominic Citriniti, his sister-in-law Millie Citriniti, and his brother-in-law Edward Schubert.

Victor will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and the many lives he touched through his quiet strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion to family.
