Vicky Renaee Warren

April 24, 1959 March 9, 2026

London, KY

Vicky Renaee Warren was born on April 24, 1959, in Corbin, Kentucky, the daughter of Raymond Hensley and Edith Williams Hensley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents Rev. C.A. Williams and Emma Blunschi Williams, Brady Hensley and Maude Cromer Hensley, and her beloved aunt Jessie Williams, who was both her best friend and a second mother.

Renaee is survived by her sisters and brothers: Marsha Howard and husband Jerry, Shaye North and husband Jeff, Tim Hensley and wife Vicky, Shane Hensley and wife Carmel, all of East Bernstadt, and Ricky Hensley of London. She was the devoted mother of Tori Holt and husband Aaron, Kayla Jackson and husband Robert, all of East Bernstadt, and Jordan Warren and Brooke Warren of London. She cherished her six grandchildren—Eli Aaron Holt, Carleigh Renaee Jackson, Camelia Rose Jackson, Cayson Robert Jackson, Laylah Brooke Warren, and Glavine Ray Warren—along with two angel grandbabies. To her many nieces and nephews, she was affectionately known as “Nae-Nae.”

A graduate of Laurel County High School in 1977, Renaee began her working life as a waitress at the Log House Restaurant. She later served as a bookkeeper at the Farmers Livestock Market and spent fifty years at Dairy Dart, where she was co-owner alongside her sister Marsha and brothers Ricky and Shane. Deeply rooted in her faith, she was a lifetime member of Carmichael Community Church, where she served as congregational song leader and choir director. She sang from a young age, performing as a soloist and with her siblings in The Hensley Trio and later The Hensleys. Her beautiful soprano voice and heartfelt renditions of songs such as “I Know the Master of the Wind” and “Magnificent Jesus” touched many hearts.

Renaee’s family was the center of her world. She loved Christmas, family vacations at the beach, cruises, the Kentucky Wildcats, and North Laurel sports. A caring and generous Christian with a servant’s heart, she freely gave her time and love to others, whether through Vacation Bible School, the church food pantry, or directing the annual Christmas Dinner. She will be remembered for her deep knowledge of scripture, her joyful praise, and the warmth and faith she shared so openly with everyone around her. Renaee departed this life on March 9, 2026, at the age of 66.
