Vicky Jo Milewski

Vicky Jo Milewski, 75, of Mattoon, Illinois, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born on February 22, 1951, in Danville, Illinois, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who lived with kindness, dedication, and a deep commitment to her family and community.

A graduate of Bismarck High School, Vicky embraced the roles of stay-at-home wife and mother with grace and unwavering support. She helped run the family business, Photography by John, contributing to its success with diligence and warmth. Known for her generous spirit, she consistently placed others before herself, touching many lives through her selflessness.

Vicky found great joy in sewing, gardening, and crafts, activities that reflected her creative spirit and patient nature. She especially treasured traveling with her husband John, sharing in the adventures and companionship that defined their life together.

She is survived by her daughter Jodi Anderson and husband Jason, her son Daniel “DJ” Meeker Jr. and wife Mary, grandchildren John Scott Milewski II, Paige Milewski, Kylie Milewski, Levi Milewski, Jaden Anderson, Lexi Anderson, and JW Anderson, and great-grandchildren Alexandra Milewski, Elena Stewart, Colton Wigley, and Grayson Wigley. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Dorothy (Britton) Thomas Sr., her husband John Milewski, her son John Scott Milewski I, and her siblings Shirley Meeker and Jack Thomas Jr.
