She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.Vickie is survived by 2 daughters: Dana Easley of Louisville, KY and Sabrina (David) Acup of Wood River; a son, Shaun Miller of Troy, IL; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers: Mike (Martha) Newton of Nashville, TN, Thomas (Tricia) Newton of Alhambra, IL and Timothy (Jennie) Newton of Staunton, IL; a sister, Tammie (Randy) Brewer of Bunker Hill, IL; a brother in law, Greg Kowalski of Granite City and many nieces and nephews.Besides her husband and parents, Vickie is preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Kowalski.The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.Professional services entrusted to the care of Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL.Online guestbook and obituary available at www.wojstrom.comTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
