Vicki Diane Reed

Ms. Vicki Diane Reed, 75, of Swainsboro, formerly of Cordele, passed away at PruittHealth Hospice on Monday, March 16, 2026.

She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Cordele. She was an accountant for DM Vickers & Associates CPA in Hawkinsville, GA. She cherished her family and especially the time spent with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents Donald Reed and Blondean Crozier, a son, William Scott Atkins, and a sister, Luwanna 'Wanna' Snyder.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Atkins, her daughter, Kimberly Lynn Shofner, grandchildren, Richard L. Atkins III, Justin Shofner, Cory Shofner, Camden Atkins, Logan Atkins, Trinity Taylor, a great-granddaughter, Tori Lynn Shofner, her siblings, Scott Reed, Patty Reed Caporale, Carol Reed Neal, Lisa Addison, and Susan Fischer.

A memorial service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church in Cordele on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 2:00pm, the family will gather at 11:00am at the church and have a meal.

Chapman Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Ms. Vicki Diane Reed, 75, of Swainsboro.
