Veronica Venecia ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Ric Brown Family Funeral Home - at the Expressway of Mission on Mar. 17, 2026.Veronica Lea Venecia, 80, of Mission passed away on March 12, 2026 at Mission Hospital.Veronica was born on February 22, 1946 to Placido and Ofelia Guerra in El Sauz, Texas. She attended Roma High School and worked at Texas Visiting Nurse Service until retirement in 2011.Veronica is survived by her children, Teodoro Venecia Jr., Yvonne Venecia Charles, Yvette Venecia Rincon and Jennifer Lee Venecia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 4-9pm. Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church at 9:30am on Thursday, March 19, 2026 followed by burial at Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 11am.Veronica was devoted to her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
