He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Eugene Cline and Bella Albany Garretson Cline; his son Dwayne McDaniel; his great grandchild Vernon Ryan McDaniel; his siblings, Bailey McDaniel, Marthelle McDaniel and Lorre McDaniel; and his son-in-law Bobby Ramon.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine McDaniel; his children, Vicki McDaniel of San Angelo and DeLayne McDaniel (Beverly) of Albany; his grandchildren, Chris McDaniel (Tiffany), Krystale Bezio of Weatherford, Bobby McDaniel (Krystal) and Cody McDaniel (Amy); his brother Kerry McDaniel (Tusnee); and his sisters-in-law, Velma McDaniel of Gore and Edna Rader of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morehart Mortuary - Albany (77 N Main St, Albany, TX 76430). The military honors will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Albany Cemetery (8603 US-283, Albany, TX 76430).

Memorials may be made to Interim Hospice of Big Spring or to Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home and may be left at Morehart Mortuary.
