Verna Sperveslage

Verna Sperveslage, née Morgan, age 95, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026. Born in Sharp County, Arkansas on October 20, 1930, she was the cherished daughter of Walter and Viola Morgan, née King.

Preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Marie Darnell, Ernestine Hurt, and Willis Morgan, Verna is lovingly remembered by her daughters Ingrid Osterwisch (John), Karen Bedinghaus (Thomas), and Mary Smith, and her son Glenn Sperveslage (Bobi Johns). Her legacy continues through her 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends.

Throughout her life, Verna remained deeply devoted to her family, always placing their needs before her own. She found great joy in nurturing those she loved and took special delight in visiting her extended family in Arkansas, where she created many cherished memories. She warmly opened her home to host holiday and Sunday meals, filling her table with laughter and a sense of welcome that drew everyone close.

Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took quiet, enduring pride in being a steady and loving presence in their lives.
