It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlin Douglas Masingo (Maryville, Tennessee), who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Tallent; his parents, Verlin Masingo and Pearl Masingo; and his sister Cleo Mills. He is survived by: his children, Joy LaForce (Kevin) and Jeremy Masingo; his grandson Tanner LaForce (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Austin Lyttle (Kandice), Annastasia Colyer-Masingo and Taylor LaForce. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 and on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 2730 US-411, Maryville, TN 37801.
