She was born on April 27, 1938, in Cole County to Leonard and Helen (Kempker) Tellman.On June 21, 1958, Lynn was united in marriage to Norbert H. Luebbering at Immaculate Conception Church in Jefferson City. They shared a beautiful life together enjoying one another's company along with their immediate and extended families.As a lifetime member of the Catholic faith, Lynn attended St. Peter's Grade School and graduated from St. Peter's High School in 1955. Lynn & Norb dedicated their lives and service to St. Joseph Cathedral where all their children attended grade school. They were also proud supporters of Helias Catholic High School, engaging in their children's years of education, sports & activities.She was employed through the years with the Missouri Division of Health, the Federal Department of Agriculture, and Blue Cross Insurance. Her passion for protecting life led her to a position where she worked and advocated for Missouri Right to Life. She also proudly served the State of Missouri working for State Representative Carl Vogel.Lynn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing for her children and grandchildren, tending her garden, and giving vegetables to family and friends. She especially loved time at the Osage River cabin and her & Norb's summer house at the Lake of the Ozarks, sharing countless memories with family and her grandchildren.Lynn was faithful in her morning routine of prayers, devotional readings, praying the rosary, and watching daily mass on EWTN. Her unwavering commitment to her faith was an inspiration to her children and grandchildren.Above all, Lynn undoubtedly loved serving the needs of others. Along with her own family, Lynn was always ready with open arms to guide, mentor and love by sharing her motherly skills. Fulfilling the needs of extended family members was part of her mission and she humbly took on any task she felt God called her to do. Her unspoken goal in life was to quietly serve the Lord by serving others.She was active in her church and community, volunteering for many years. Lynn served as a Girl Scout leader and participated in the Marian Medal Program, St. Joseph Women's Association, the Christmas Bazaar (Grand Raffle), the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and St. Mary's Health Center Auxiliary. She was also a long-time member of the Medical Secretaries Association and the daughters of Isabella.It was always important for Lynn to stay physically active and functionally fit so she could enjoy family and friends. She spent the past five years, faithfully spending time at the Sam B Cook Healthplex. The members & staff became her supportive environment. She loved spending time with her Healthplex family.Lynn is survived by her five children: Terri Marshall Davis (Bob) of Kansas City; Chelle Shepard, friend Darius Struemph; Kim Baumgartner (Danny), Kay Benward, friend Mike Veit and Jason Luebbering (Jill), all of Jefferson City.Her legacy includes 16 grandchildren: Brandon Marshall, Billy Marshall (Kristi), Clayton Shepard, Rachel Shepard Roling (Brad), Abby Shepard Gaines (Dylan), Danielle Baumgartner Heimericks (Cody), Cole Baumgartner (Lexi), Jayme Baumgartner Wilbers (Ryan), Justin Benward (Beth), Ashley Benward, John Benward, Jordan Benward, Paige Luebbering Rehagen (Ben), Annica Luebbering, Nicholas Luebbering and Caleb Luebbering.She is also blessed with 20 great-grandchildren.In addition, Lynn is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law: VernaLee and Bill Luebbert of Jefferson City, and Carole and Tim Pilkington of St. Cloud, Florida.She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Jayne Marie; her son-in-law, Mike Shepard; and her beloved husband, Norbert H. Luebbering.Friends will be received from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with a rosary at 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with Father Stephen Jones officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to: Helias Catholic High School for the Jayne Luebbering and Norbert and Lynn Luebbering scholarship fund or to the Cathedral of St. Joseph..Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 W.
