Vera Ellen Crooks, age 85, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on November 24, 1940, in Jerusalem, Ohio, she was a lifelong member of Victory Chapel and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Crooks, and her daughter, Rebecca Unrue. Vera is survived by her children, Gene (Joyce) Scritchfield and Martha Wymer, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her sister, Cathy Albright.
Her family will always cherish the love and strength she brought to their lives.
