Venus Rose Morandi (Garbarino), age 101, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. Born on December 23, 1924, in Sanger, California, she spent most of her life in Fresno, where she built a remarkable life defined by hard work, determination, and devotion to family.

Venus was married to her beloved husband, Reno Morandi, for more than 45 years. Together they owned and operated Reno’s Flying A service station and pursued various ventures, from farming to investing in the stock market and real estate. A self-taught and resourceful woman, Venus approached life with courage and curiosity, leading her family on many successful adventures and taking great pride in creating a secure future for those she loved.

She was a devoted and loving mother who is survived by her four children, Sandra Fuchs, Shirley Robinson, Julie Morandi, and John Morandi, as well as her sister, Angie Qualls. Venus also leaves behind nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

She will be remembered for her strength, independence, and deep love for her family. Her legacy of determination, resilience, and care will live on through the generations she leaves behind.
