He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Joseph and Mariamma Joseph; his siblings, Mariamma Joseph and P. J. Joseph; and his wife Aleyamma Varughese.

He is survived by: his brother Rev. John Joseph Puthuparampil; his children, Mathew Puthuparampil (Aleyamma), Lilly Zachariah (Mathew), Rajan Puthuparampil (Jollyamma) and Molly Pulimoottil (John); his grandchildren, Susan Puthuparampil (Anish), Bobby Zachariah (Stephanie), Sonia Puthuparampil (Kuriakose), Benjamin Zachariah (Sharon), Julia Pulimoottil (Tony), Bindya Zachariah, Rinsey Furtal (Kalton), Justin Puthuparampil, Jody Pulimoottil (Michael), Jobin Puthuparampil and Janet Pulimoottil; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Olivia, Leah and Maya.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Liverpool United Methodist Church (604 Oswego St, Liverpool, NY 13088). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (2932 Warners Rd, Warners, NY 13164).
