Van Nga Thi Nguyen

Van Nga Thi Nguyen, age 54, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

Born on September 8, 1971, in Saigon, Vietnam, to Louie and Lam (Van) Nguyen, Van Nga grew up attending school in Vietnam before building her life in Greenville. She worked as a nail technician, earning respect for her dedication and the genuine kindness she showed to everyone she met.

Van Nga took great joy in cooking and creating a warm, welcoming home for her family. She possessed a big heart and was always ready to help those in need. Loving and caring by nature, she brought comfort, generosity, and compassion to everyone around her.

She is survived by her children, Truong Nguyen of Greenville, Kelly Nguyen of Columbus, Ohio, and Kevin Nguyen of Greenville; her grandson, Doukhan Caltrider of Columbus; her siblings, Thu Ha Nguyen of Vietnam, Nhat Thanh Nguyen of Texas, Thuy Bich Thi Nguyen of Ohio, Tommy Nguyen of Ohio, and Chi Thien Nguyen of Georgia; her nieces, Kathy Dang and Jennifer Nguyen of Greenville; and her nephew, Steven Nguyen of Greenville. Van Nga was preceded in death by her aunt, Lam Thuc Chau; her grandfather, Lam Quang; and her grandmother, Tran Thi An. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the love she shared with her family, friends, and community.
