Valma Jewell Wall Stavron, age 95, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve S. Stavron; her children, Stephanie Greenley (John) and Steven Bruce Stavron; her parents, Emeron Edward Wall and Elva May Hunt Wall; and her siblings, Neldon E. Wall, Virgil Keith Wall, Kenneth Blaine Wall Sr., and Viola May Wall, Valma is survived by her brother, Bruce Wall; her children, Carolyn Wilbourn (Donald), Irene Keanum, JoAnne Winsor (Mark), Judy Rohlik (Ron), Sarah Getchell (Skip), and Steven Scott Stavron (Allyson); along with 25 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Valma was a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ whose life was marked by quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family. Music filled her home, where her children grew up listening to her play the piano and sharing classical pieces together. She was a talented artist and seamstress who used her creative gifts to make beautiful things and bless those around her. She loved the scriptures and read them often with her children, teaching gospel principles with patience and kindness. Family vacations to Myrtle Beach became treasured traditions filled with laughter and precious time together.

Even in her later years, when many memories had faded, her faith remained steadfast. She continued to recall the Lord’s Prayer and the words of the beloved song “I Am a Child of God.” Valma leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, creativity, and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
