Valerie June Kindred

Valerie June Kindred, 40, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away on March 6, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on February 24, 1986, in Rexburg, Idaho, Valerie lived a life full of adventure. She possessed a strong spirit and an incredible personality that drew people to her. She adored nature and found joy in the mountains, which she considered her playground.

Valerie faced a long and difficult battle with addiction. In the years before her passing, she showed remarkable strength and resilience, celebrating three years of sobriety—a milestone that reflected her determination to heal and rebuild. She was deeply loved, and her laughter, warmth, and presence left a lasting mark on those who knew her.

She is survived by her spouse, Michael Mitchell; her children, Vincent Later, Micah Later, Lucas Mason, Emily Howland, Kennedy Howland, and River Howland; her mother, Christina Stanley; her brother, Justin; her sister, Kelly; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her greatly.

She will be remembered for the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the lasting imprint she left on the lives she touched.
