Vada Louise Young

Vada Louise Young, age 90, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth M. Young.

Vada graduated from Granville High School in 1953 and moved to Columbus that same year, where she began her career as a secretary at Nationwide Insurance Company. She and Kenneth made their home in the Whitehall community for more than 65 years and were longtime members of Whitehall United Methodist Church for over 55 years.

She is survived by three daughters, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, whom she adored. Vada will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. A private service will be held at Glen Rest Cemetery.
