Ulus Ewing “Copperhead” Osborne, age 83, of Etheridge, Tennessee, formerly of Williamson County, passed away peacefully. He retired after forty years of dedicated service at Durango Boot Company. An avid outdoorsman, he found great joy in hunting and fishing, and he took special pride in his passion for canning food.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fulton Ewing and Viola Harris Osborne; his brother, Herbert “Bud” Osborne; his sisters, Mable Sullivan, Lenora Harper, and Anna Osborne; and his daughter-in-law, Donna Osborne.

He is survived by his son, Fulton Osborne; daughters, Mary Lou Mitchell and Kim Tucker; his companion, Gary “Lulu” Holt; grandchildren, Cody (Magan) Osborne, Kelly (Jr.) Roland, Lacy (Michael) Webb, Ray (Becca) Mitchell, Charlee Tucker, Avie Willingham, and Bristol Willingham; nine great-grandchildren; his brother, Luther Osborne; sisters, Jo-Marie Baxter, Martha Sue (Chris) Vergon, Mary Ann (Ricky) Johnson, and Ellen Hartley; and many other loving family members.
