Tyler H. Rhyner, age 18, of Wausau, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at his home. Born on November 16, 2007, in Wausau, he was the son of Kate Sobeck and Nathan Klitzka. Tyler attended Merrill High School before returning to Wausau. He worked briefly at Kwik Trip in the food service department.
Tyler found joy in skateboarding, discovering new fishing spots, foraging for mushrooms, and spending time with family and friends. He was skilled in welding and cooking, and was especially proud of his secret guacamole recipe. A devoted animal lover, he adored his cats, particularly Arlo. Those who knew him remember his kind soul, gentle heart, warm smile, and wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving parents, grandparents, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Tyler will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held by his family at a later date. Memorials in his name may be directed to New Life Pet Adoption in Marathon, Wisconsin.
