Tyeson Secrist Iverson

Tyeson Secrist Iverson

McCammon, ID

Tyeson Secrist Iverson, a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, father, and friend, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, while doing what he loved—riding his motorcycle. Born on October 11, 1994, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Andrew Lee and Stephanie Marie Iverson, he was raised and educated in Marsh Valley. He graduated from Marsh Valley High School with the class of 2013 and then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Denver, Colorado Mission from 2013 to 2015, where he spoke Spanish.

Tyeson was a lifelong fan of the Oregon Ducks and rarely missed a game, always wearing his “lucky” Oregon Duck shoes on game days. He found joy in riding his motorcycle, attending family events and concerts, spending time with Emmah and his son Rook, and playing video games to unwind and connect with friends. A gifted athlete, he excelled in baseball, basketball, and especially football. He lived by the motto “Nobody Cares, Work Harder,” approaching everything he did with quiet determination. Though private by nature, Tyeson was deeply loyal to those he loved and placed others before himself. His greatest joy came with the birth of his son Rook, whose arrival became the center of his world.

Tyeson had the good fortune of working alongside his best friend and brother, Stetson, at Itafos. They shared commutes on the same shifts, cherished their time together, and continued the playful teasing that had defined their bond since childhood.

He is survived by his son, Rook Secrist Iverson, and fiancé Emmah Peterson; his parents, Andrew and Stephanie Iverson of McCammon; his sister, Sierra (Ryan) Jensen and nephew Ryker of Rexburg; his brother, Stetson Iverson and nephews Briggs and Bex of McCammon; his grandparents, Bill and Betsy Howell of McCammon; and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mark and Susie Iverson of Pocatello, great-grandmother Mable Lish of Inkom, and great-grandparents Bill and Marie Howell of McCammon.
