She was predeceased by: her parents, John Byrd and Carolyn Nipper Byrd; and her brothers, Johnny Byrd and Donald Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Marcus Highley; her children, Keila Bender (Donald), Hunter Rogers and Dylan Highley (Hannah); her grandchildren, Kaitlynn Staton (Camren), Jakob Bender, Liam Rogers, Carolyn Rogers, Saylor Highley and Brooks Highley; her siblings, Jerry Byrd (Jonda) and Paul Byrd (Laura); her mother-in-law Mary Highley; and her sister-in-law Shelley Copher (John). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Living Water Church (200 Fogg Pike, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
